Pendulum privacy policy
Who is responsible
Pendulum is provided by Lluis Gasso Villarejo, a self-employed professional in Spain. Lluis Gasso Villarejo, NIF 52599019C. Avinguda Joan XXIII 7, àtic 2, 08930 Sant Adrià de Besòs, Barcelona, Spain. Your work stays on your device
Worksheets, expressions, shift times, dates, notes, settings and drafts are stored locally. The free Android release does not send these records or other user data to us or to a server. It has no Internet permission, billing library, registration, cloud synchronization, location tracking, advertising, analytics or third-party crash-reporting SDK. Local usage counters are not uploaded.
Backups and restored records
Android may back up app data according to your device and Google account settings. Local diagnostic counters and any historical subscription lease are excluded from Android backup. Manual backups contain your records and are saved only where you choose using the Android file picker. Restoring a backup preserves existing records; imported projects, worksheets and presets remain stored even where this free release does not offer creation or premium tools. Storage destinations such as a cloud drive have their own privacy practices.
Support and these information pages
Opening a support link uses your email application. We receive the information you choose to include in a support message and use it to answer your request. Opening privacy or terms links uses your external browser. These static pages use Cloudflare hosting, without scripts, cookies, advertisements, analytics or third-party fonts. The hosting provider processes connection metadata such as IP address, request time and status to deliver and protect its service. Its processing and international transfers are governed by the applicable provider agreements and safeguards.
Retention and deletion
Local records remain until you delete them in Pendulum, clear Android app storage or uninstall the app. We cannot remotely access or recover them. Manage exported files and Android backups separately. Routine support correspondence is retained for up to 12 months after the last substantive response, then reviewed for deletion; information needed for an unresolved request, a legal obligation or a specific legal claim is kept only for that purpose and the applicable period. Hosting security metadata is retained under the provider’s service and security retention rules; the app does not create website visitor profiles. Keep a backup before deleting important work.
Purposes and legal bases
We do not receive or process your local calculation records. If you contact us, we process your sender address and message to respond to your request and provide support, based on our legitimate interest in assisting users (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR), or to take steps you request in relation to a contract (Article 6(1)(b)) where applicable. Website delivery and security rely on our legitimate interest in providing safe information pages. Processing needed to comply with a legal obligation relies on Article 6(1)(c). Providing a support message is voluntary; without relevant contact details we may be unable to reply. No advertising profiles or automated decisions with legal or similarly significant effects are made.
Recipients and international transfers
Support messages are handled by the developer and the email service providers used to deliver and store correspondence. Cloudflare provides these information pages and processes connection metadata; see its Data Processing Addendum and standard contractual clauses. Providers may process information outside the EEA, including in the United States. Where required, transfers rely on an applicable adequacy decision or standard contractual clauses and supplementary safeguards. Contact us for information about the safeguards applicable to your request. We do not sell your information.
Your choices and rights
No Pendulum account exists to delete, and no purchase is needed. You can delete local records, save a manual backup and manage Android backups. Contact hello@lluisgasso.com about information we actually receive, such as support correspondence, including access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability or objection where applicable. We may need to verify a request. You may complain to the Spanish data protection authority, AEPD, or your competent authority. You may object to processing based on legitimate interests and withdraw any consent you have given without affecting earlier lawful processing. We normally respond to privacy requests within one month; permitted extensions will be explained.
Changes
This policy describes the free 1.0 release. If a future release introduces purchases or off-device processing, we will update the app disclosures and this policy before activating it. Updated 4 November 2026.
